We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ISV Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic partnerships with ISVs across Africa. The candidate will be responsible for executing strategies and fostering strong relationships with ISV partners. This role requires a deep understanding of software industry dynamics, sales acumen, and a proven track record of successful partner engagement.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities​

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy tailored to foster ISV partnership growth, achieve business objectives, and increase customer acquisition within the African market. 
  • Identify, collect, and maintain an up-to-date ISV database, prioritising potential partners based on business goals, solution offerings, and market trends across diverse African markets. 
    Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless integration of ISV partners into Cloudmania’s ISV Program. 
  • Analyse prevailing market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer preferences to unearth opportunities for fresh offerings and market distinction. 
  • Provide continuous guidance and support to ISV partners, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies, seamless adoption of joint solutions, and heightened customer satisfaction. 
  • Monitor and proactively report key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to ISV partnerships, growth, and customer engagement in the African market. 
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, technological trends, and emerging prospects in the software ecosystem that hold promise for Africa. 
  • Facilitate ISV interactions and communicate the Value Proposition to prospective partners.

Education, Experience & Skills ​

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
  • Certifications or qualifications relevant to the software industry. (Advantage)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partner management, or related roles within the software industry
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnership agreements with ISVs or technology vendors.
  • Deep understanding of software solutions, cloud services, and technology platforms.
  • Strong business acumen demonstrated by the ability to conceptualize, develop, and execute commercial strategies attuned to the African market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decision-making and strategy development.
  • Result-oriented with a focus on achieving revenue targets and business objectives.
